A woman has been arrested and charged to court for allegedly beating her husband to a pulp as punishment for farting in bed in Zimbabwe.
The victim, fikile Nyamane, reportedly claimed his wife, Nompumelelo,used her elbow to give him a blow to the face while he was asleep and when he asked what he did she told him he was disturbing her with his persistent farting .
He added that after he went back to sleep his enraged wife sat on him and Pummeled him till he almost lost consciousness.
According to Reports, Fikile said he fell out of bed and the fight continued, leaving him with deep scratches up to 20cm long across his chest.
He Added that Mpumelelo hid in the bathroom and dispersed pepper-spray to keep him out of the room but he somehow managed to restrain his infuriated wife and called the police. The woman was arrested and charged with domestic battery.
